The inspiration for this painting was the ancient images of flowers in different countries. It has notes of Spain. Italy. the Balkan countries. Ukraine. Traditional bouquets of bright poppies. roses. hibiscus. violets were depicted on a dark background. So the made the beauty of the flower even more expressive. I wanted to rethink this tradition in a modern way.
I have also used this method. In the center of my painting. I placed a bright bouquet surrounded by a dark background. I did not get attached to the image of some real flowers. creating only the image of a lush bouquet. Although in my strokes of reddish shades. the contours of a rose are clearly guessed. This work will become a decoration of a modern interior.
