I created this portrait inspired by the author's style of the great expressionist painters. Bright shades, bold strokes, the desire to convey the mood was the main thing for me. Especially for a long time I worked on the image of the bear's eyes. I wanted there to be no aggression in his eyes. But they were alive, meaningful, full of inner life. And I achieved the depth of the look in the portrait. The calm, clear gaze of the bear reveals the inner energy of this painting. She has the power of the wild, the awareness of her own strength and there is something more. Something reminiscent of the vulnerability of even the most powerful beast. For me, the bear has become a symbol of these contradictions. This picture unambiguously charges with its energy and gives a reason to think about it.
